Cypress Pine

Australian White Cypress (Callitris glaucophylla) grows in the sandy soils of South East Queensland where we average 8 – 10 inches of rain per year, thus the trees grow very slowly, one of the reasons for its unique density and durability qualities. Cypress Pine is a naturally regenerating species therefore ensuring the future of the resource for many years to come. Although classed as softwood, Cypress Pine is a hard timber.
